TechEvents (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is an event display and management application operated by iTech Event. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

The App is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. Depending on how you use it, we may process:

• Account & authentication data — if you sign in, your login credentials are sent to our servers to authenticate you. An access token is stored securely on your device’s encrypted storage (Keychain on iOS).
• Event & content data — information you create or display through the App (such as events, names, and media) is sent to and stored on our servers to provide the service.
• Images you choose — if you select or upload an image, it is transmitted to our servers only for the purpose you intend (for example, displaying it on a screen). The App does not access your photo library without your action.
• Local preferences — settings and non-sensitive preferences are stored locally on your device to remember your choices.

We do not use third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To provide, operate, and maintain the App’s features.
• To display and synchronize event content in real time across your screens.
• To diagnose technical problems and improve reliability.

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored on servers operated for iTech Event. Authentication tokens are kept in your device’s secure, encrypted storage. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

We do not share your personal information with third parties except: (a) service providers that host or operate our infrastructure on our behalf; or (b) where required by law. These parties are only permitted to use the data as necessary to provide their services to us.

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@itechevent.com.

The App is intended for business and event-management use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
